Koharu's echo awoke on the eve of the calamity, plaguing her 11 year old self with visions of the red sun falling. Not only did she start having visions, she started feeling others emotions. So much so that it influenced her own. Her echo manifested in such a way that it made her an entelekie, able to manipulate dynamis passively.
Relationships
Adopted daughter to Nero tol Scaeva and (later) Cid Garlond, she is very fond of the two. She's akin to siblings with Alphinaud Leveilleur, Alisaie Leveilleur and Estinien Varlineu. She is engaged in a romantic relationship with Zenos Galvus. And is like a younger sister to Y'shtola Rhul and her wife, Jai'da Nokomis-Rhul.
Stowaways
During the battle against Zenos at the edge of the universe, Koharu had to siphon the garlean's aether in order to keep herself alive and eventually gain the upper hand. Unfortunately, she accidentally drags along his soul, fusing it with her own. Due to Zenos' soul bein artificially enhanced, and it not being a shard of azem's soul, he conscious joins hers in her head. Since the two now share a soul and a body, they both can control the body that is koharu scaeva's.
Weapons
On her at all times are her Tathlums, her globe, and her Gunblade. Koharu switches between them while fighting. her fae weapons were a gift from Feo Ul, given to the Au Ra on her last visit to the first before the final days befell the source.

History

Pre-ARR
Koharu's dads, Cid Garlond and Nero Tol Scaeva, have been a part of her life since she can remember. Having been rescued from her birth mother's corpse by a young Nero, she grew up with him. One night, the young girl wished to see her other father's airship, sneaking aboard to mess with the controls and look at the engineering, what Haru failed to understand that night as the aircraft took off, is that she wouldnt return for a long time. Haru stayed with Cid till the calamity struck, when her echo manifested and so did her hyper-empathy. She stayed with Marques in the church at drybone for a few days, leaving however, due to how heartbreaking staying had been. She spent years travelling to Gridania, eventually ending up in the lancer's guild.
